Julian Spillane and Lauren the Flute - Two Tides

about

"I've always had a very love/hate relationship to the Ecco games in the same way that it seems many others do. The first game was punishingly difficult and kid Julian never made it appreciably deep into the game until later in life. Ecco 2, however, just clicked with me on so many levels, especially the soundtrack's move towards a more industrial and less ambient feel. So, when Lauren asked me to collaborate with her on the track, I jumped at the offer. For this one, we really wanted to go with a more sinister vibe, pairing up vintage analog synths with flute in a way that sounds alien and cold. It was an absolute pleasure to work on and I'm humbled to have worked with and be surrounded by so many talented artists!"
